Yes, it is only the second month of school, and yes, I am only just a sophomore… but even so, I am constantly stressed. Between essays, tests, volleyball practice and interning I feel like I am about to explode. So Riley, what do you do to de-stress? How do you avoid becoming the next atomic bomb? Well… this is how:
- Watch hours and hours of Entourage. Back to back to back episodes. If that amount of time is not available then youtubing “Clips of Ari Gold” will suffice. Trust me, watching Ari bitch at people will make you feel a lot better.
- As fun as it is, screaming into pillows does not help. Do CALMING things, like taking a bath with music (John Mayer was created for moments like these).
- Get off Facebook, listening to people tell you how screwed they are for tomorrows test doesn’t help. Neither does listening to people tell you how prepared they are. It’s a lose, lose situation.
- Plan an escape route to Hawaii, there’s no need to be stressed if you never have to go to school again, right?
Warning: De-Stressing is a synonym for procrastinating. Do not de-stress for too long and forget about all your work. Too much “de-stressing” can result in even MORE stress. Hope this helps,
